Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Architectural Design (professional registration with SACAP advantageous).
Minimum 35 years experience in architectural design, preferably within an engineering, construction, or infrastructure environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (Lumion/3ds Max advantageous).
Strong technical knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and municipal submission processes.
Ability to read and integrate structural, civil, and mechanical engineering drawings.
Excellent design presentation, visualization, and drafting skills.
Good knowledge of project documentation, tender processes, and contract administration.
Strong communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
