Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 2pm- Until Finish
Summary:
Supervises cost effective operation of warehouse shipping. Supervises warehouse shipping personnel and activities of Gordon Food Service (GFS) distribution centers. Assigns staff and monitors flow of products through the distribution center.
Essential Functions:
Directs cost effective operation of warehouse shipping.
Contributes to the development of Division procedures to improve service and profitability and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Selects and trains employees and Team Leaders and schedules workforce appropriately.
Collaborates with Sales/Transportation leadership to maintain operating proficiency and accuracy.
