Good understanding of Conventional and CNC Lathes, Slotting, Planer and Milling Machines. 
Productivity/output – accountable for ensuring that production schedules are met on a daily/weekly/quarterly basis during shifts. 
Supervises direct labour / production employees. 
Monitor and prioritise workflow of production to meet deadlines. 
Report on key production output, measurement of work centre utilisation and productivity. 
Ensure booked versus paid hours are accounted for. 
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and root‑cause production slowdowns. 
Ensure strict adherence to Quality Management Systems. 
Accountable for Health & Safety for all work areas and employees on duty.
