Job Purpose Borg Warner SLP is currently seeking a Product Engineer to join the Power Drive System business unit team.
The Product Engineer will be responsible for sustaining and improving product yield, quality, reliability, safety, legal and environmental compliance, and transferring new products.
Key Responsibilities Lead production by resolving material problems and software-related issues.
Improve product yield and quality.
Support new product/variation/ECO activities.
Initiate and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Participate in the employee involvement team.
Improve customer satisfaction and reduce line pull/warranty to meet targets.
Special projects: modify and debug test software (if applicable).
Ensure all prints meet the revision requirements.
Lead in the change management process.
