About the role

Our Procurement Department at South Arm, V&A Waterfront, is looking for a sharp, commercially minded Procurement Officer to buy the goods and services that keep our maintenance department running.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Award orders for maintenance work in conjunction with the Maintenance Superintendents.
• Interpret and compare technical quotes, and negotiate pricing based on quotes and work done.
• Impose penalties in line with agreed terms where required.
• Analyse spend and improve the sourcing process to maximise quality of work and minimise cost.
• Select and source from suppliers in line with Preferential Procurement targets.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve account queries.
