Our client in Southwest Sydney is a leading worldwide logistics organisation seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team.

Overview of the role:

• Identify potential suppliers and manage the procurement process from start to finish, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting.
• Manage vendor contracts to ensure that terms and conditions are met and that the company receives the best value for money.
• Ensure that the company has adequate inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.
• Implement cost-saving strategies to minimize procurement expenses while maintaining the highest level of quality and service.
• Maintain a positive relationship with suppliers to ensure that the company receives the best possible service. 

You will be required to work 5 days a week on site.
