Responsibilities
  • Analyses and evaluates marine and topside equipment for purchase.
  • Negotiate with suppliers.
  • Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with project requirements and time schedules.
  • Liaise with project team and external vendors to ensure equipment/parts and materials meet project specifications and budget.
  • Manage the full spectrum of purchasing processes (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc.).
  • Issue and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Expedite orders and monitor follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide vendor recommendations and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Coordinate all warehouse operation matters to ensure they are in good order.
  • Resolve discrepancies found on delivered equipment and materials upon receipt.
