            Create and implement strategies for procurement that are cost effective, agile to suit market changes and with a quick turnaround time 
Ensuring to develop, build and foster a network of vendors/ suppliers 
Negotiating with vendors and suppliers to get favourable terms, timely supplies 
Execution and follow up of the PO placed to the point of shipment. 
Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials 
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports 
Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations 
Partner with Commercial and Operations to contribute to Bids and Tenders 
Contract management and conducting assessment of suppliers 
Sourcing from Africa locally, China and India. Primarily for yellow goods plant and machinery, project purchases and process plants 
Keep abreast of changing industry trends
