The Opportunity

Portsmouth City Council is seeking an experienced Principal Planning Policy Officer (Interim) to lead on key elements of the recently submitted Local Plan examination. This is a high-profile role offering the chance to influence the city’s development over the next fifteen years, with a focus on Biodiversity, Transport, and other critical planning policy areas. You will work closely with the Head of Planning Policy and mentor junior staff within a friendly, professional team of eight.
