Overview

We are seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant to be based in Madrid, with a strong focus on coordinating and managing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and associated studies in line with International Financial Institution (IFI) requirements.

The role will involve some international travel and close collaboration with environmental and social subject matter specialists and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary ESIA teams
• Managing environmental inputs to projects financed by IFIs (e.g. World Bank Group, EBRD, EIB)
