Principal Civil Engineer – Role Overview

Stantec is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join our Manchester or Warrington team, working on UK water industry projects across the AMP framework. The role involves full project lifecycle responsibilities, including asset planning, design, and delivery, while leading and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute across the full project lifecycle from asset planning and strategy to concept, outline and detailed design. Lead and mentor engineers, collaborate with project design leads, and ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering
• Incorporated or Chartered membership of a relevant institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM) or relevant experience
• Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment design
• Experience leading and mentoring teams to deliver integrated technical outcomes
