The candidate has

a PhD degree in Arts, Philosophy, or another relevant subject, concluded with excellent results (or will have it before the start of the employment), and meet the requirements for recruitment as a postdoctoral fellow

good command of academic English

excellent knowledge of Latin and ancient Greek 

acquaintance with Latin and Greek medieval palaeography is an advantage

experience in critical editing of (medieval) Latin texts is an advantage

The candidates are

prepared to develop further expertise in ancient and medieval philosophy

motivated to contribute to the overall goals of the project in close cooperation with the other team members and partner teams. For that purpose, the candidate is prepared to conduct their research at the partner institution in Tübingen for up to three months.
