Track and evaluate port performance, pinpoint areas in need of development, and put the right plans into action. 
Control and maximise journey costs, taking into account the cost of bunker supply and other running costs. 
Work together with other departments, such finance and logistics, to guarantee smooth coordination and communication. 
Assist ship crews with loading and unloading procedures by offering technical advice and assistance. 
Assure accurate and timely reporting of port performance and activities. 
To promote continual progress, keep abreast of advancements and trends in the industry.
