About the Role

The Energy Markets Branch delivers secure, sustainable, and affordable energy for NewZealand. You will analyse complex policy issues and provide authoritative policy advice. Senior roles will also involve coaching and mentoring staff. You will work across a range of projects and teams, supporting policy work in the Energy Use, Electricity Markets, and ElectrifyNZ policy teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to complex policy analysis.
• Provide authoritative policy advice.
• Support the development of primary or secondary legislation.
• Mentor and coach junior staff for senior positions.
