Position Summary

As a Platform Engineer you will design, implement, and maintain robust platforms that support GSK’s mission to improve lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of process equipment and plant areas.
• Deliver engineering activities (maintenance, improvement and projects) in collaboration with Planning, Capital Projects and Business Unit teams, leading technicians or contractors when required.
• Develop and deliver Continuous Improvement (CI) for safety, quality and waste cost in the SBU.
• Ensure root cause and problem solving are conducted, implementing corrective and preventive actions, including deviation and PMDE investigations.
• Provide clear leadership and development to front‑line staff, sharing knowledge to upskill engineers and production operations staff.
• Lead Machinery Safety, Process Safety and Data Integrity (DI) audit activities in SBU engineering.
