Job Description
As Planning Manager you will proactively lead and manage the Local Planning Team, delivering a transport plan that effectively deploys the company’s transport assets. This plan should deliver compliance with relevant legislation, company procedures meets customer requirements and generate profit to the business.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off days, 06.00-18.00
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (DOE)
Key Duties of a Planning Manager:
Manage the Daily Transport Plan (COP024) by ensuring Team Leaders carry out daily duties.Daily analysis of the P&L for each of their team’s planning boardsRegular monitoring of Empty Legs informationRegular monitoring of ISOTRAK's group analysis screen for their team resource poolMonitoring status boards for the national fleet analysing booked, planned and completed jobsLiaising with Team Leaders to ensure data requirements for GTS are complete.
