Physiotherapist – Medical Respiratory – Christchurch Hospital

Fixed term until August 2025, 1.0 FTE (80 hours fortnight). Combined inpatient (0.5 FTE) and outpatient (0.5 FTE) roles.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to deliver services to the medical respiratory specialty in Christchurch Hospital as part of the Cardiorespiratory and Surgical Cluster. Your caseload will include both inpatient ward and outpatient services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referrals to other services.
• Supervising and mentoring rotational staff and final‑year physiotherapy students.
• Supporting quality improvement activities.
• Contributing to weekend and on‑call rosters.
