Physiotherapist – Clinical Lead Inpatients (Acute)

We are seeking a proficient physiotherapist to work as a Clinical Lead in our Acute Inpatient team. This full‑time position requires rostered weekend and on‑call work and includes maintaining a patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the acute physiotherapy inpatient team.
• Educate and mentor staff.
• Roster and perform staff performance appraisals.
• Ensure staff competencies and assist the Professional Lead.
• Work closely with Physio Clinical Leads of Rehab and Musculoskeletal Outpatients, the Physiotherapy Professional Lead, and the Occupational Therapy Inpatient Lead as well as ward MDTs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate.
• Valid work visa for New Zealand.
• At least five years’ experience in an inpatient hospital setting, including ICU.
