Overview The Physician Referral Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the Physician Referral Center. The Supervisor is the main contact for issues in the center and responsible for resolution of these issues. Has responsibility to hire, train, develop, and discipline the Physician Referral Center Staff. Responsibilities Responsible for the day to day supervision of the Physician Referral Center staff including prioritization of work, staff coverage amongst workgroups, and training and development for new and current employees Assists in the manager in human resources objectives, including hiring, transferring, developing, disciplining and termination of employees. Review all incoming referrals and schedule appointments for various practices and specialties. Communicates referral information and confirmation with patients and referring physician/office staff.
