Summary The Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at Salisbury consists of full-time pathologists, a Lab Manager, laboratory medical technologists and technicians at supervisory and bench levels, phlebotomists, and clerical and support staff. Salisbury Healthcare System has three other labs; two Health Care Centers (HCC) located in South Charlotte and Kernersville, NC and a community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) located in North Charlotte, NC. The incumbent reports to the Facility Chief of Staff. Responsibilities The Associate Chief of Staff/Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (ACOS/P&LM) has overall responsibility and accountability for implementation and maintenance of new and established policies and for providing overall direction in the continuing operation of the service line.
