SUMMARY:
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, working in collaboration with licensed Physical Therapist and within a determined plan of care, administers and implements physical therapy treatment interventions for patients suffering from injuries or muscle, joint, or bone disease to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Treats acute and chronic injuries and related disabilities
Communicate with the treating physical therapist about the patient’s response to the treatment
