Job Summary: Responsible for providing direct patient care in acute care, sub-acute and/or outpatient settings. Demonstrates knowledge of physical therapy treatment modalities and therapeutic procedures through his/her application in patient care. Effectively applies all physical therapeutic techniques appropriate to patient needs and physician orders. Completes all required documentation, assists in scheduling and attends interdisciplinary rounds/committee meetings as assigned.
Education: Position requires a master's degree or 5-7 years equivalent combination of education and experience in related area. 6 months experience in an inpatient acute and/or sub-acute care setting required. Clinical rotations required during educational coursework in PT may be substituted for direct work experience.
