The Department ofPathologyis seeking a Phlebotomy Technician I to perform phlebotomy/specimen collection, anda variety of laboratory tasks related to phlebotomy:labeling specimens, telephone inquiries, and distribution of phlebotomy supplies. This position is 80% time, Monday – Friday, with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 0700-1800.

Duties to include:

·Performs phlebotomy draws.

·Performs computer data entry and other clerical tasks as required.

·Orders, receives, and distributes supplies.

·Responds to basic phlebotomy inquiries and otherwise represents assigned and related work areas.
