Local Temp to Perm Outreach Phlebotomist - hrs Days
Shift: hrs. Days, Monday through Friday, :am to :pm.

. Location/Department: Phlebotomy.



. Job Description: Provide Outreach Phlebotomy services for + Off-site phlebotomy locations (Nursing Homes, Homedraws, and Inpatient). Maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Process a variety of specimens in accordance to established protocols. Data entry into both the hospital and laboratory information systems. Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed through the laboratory information system. Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure the correctness of data entry.

. Rotation Requirements: Rotate to weekends and holidays as needed.

. EMR (Charting System): EPIC.

. Patient Population: Adult and Adolescent patients.
