As a Phlebotomist (Clinic Settings), you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Perform blood taking procedures (venepuncture).
  • Perform phlebotomy and ensure accuracy in sorting out patient’s results daily.
  • Ensure that blood specimens are handled according to established standards and protocol.
  • Practice proper patient identification & ensure proper recording and labelling of blood specimens for dispatch to laboratory.
  • Conduct HIV screen interviews for patients.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'N' Level and above.
  • Phlebotomist Certificate training or certified in venepuncture.
  • At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
