PhD Research Fellow in Fluid Mechanics, available at the Department of Mathematics on Blindern Campus, Oslo. The fellowship period is three years. The candidate will be affiliated with the Mechanics Section (Section 1) and will work on a project focused on detecting underwater acoustics using AI methodologies, as well as CFD simulations combined with physics-informed machine learning. The role provides an opportunity to collaborate with other PhD candidates, researchers, and world‑leading industry partners, including the newly established Norwegian Maritime AI Centre.
