An excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated, committed and adaptable individual to join the Aseptic Pharmacy unit which prepares cancer medication. The role requires a dependable, efficient, and hardworking team member.

Main duties

Provide support to the aseptic pharmacy team with cleaning of the unit, transfer of medication and consumables from the storeroom into the cleanroom, stock control and stock rotation of medicines and consumables, and administrative tasks such as filing and answering the phone.

Participation in rounded‑the‑clock service, including weekend, bank holiday and early morning rotas, is expected.

Opportunity to complete the NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services is available.

All staff are expected to be available to work flexibly across UHD sites when service demands require it.
