ResponsibilitiesThe Performance Improvement Director is assigned to the performance improvement program to assist senior leadership, medical staff, and the Performance Improvement Committee in designing, planning, implementing and overseeing a comprehensive and integrated performance improvement program. The role will oversee performance improvement communication, data collection / analysis, chart abstraction, and business or technical writing.
Additionally, the Performance Improvement Director has broad responsibility to support the hospital’s risk management program, which aims to protect the hospital's assets from loss. The Performance Improvement Director will oversee the coordination of loss control efforts and advise the hospital’s Risk Manager on potential sources of loss and make recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure.
