You as a Payroll Supervisor, Salary will:
Assist with all day-to-day aspects of the Payroll Department with a primary focus on the salary population and involvement with hourly populations.Assist with running and overseeing the salaried payroll that consists of 3,500 employees.Responsible for overseeing 3 direct reports within salaried payroll and being part of a large payroll team.Responsible for processing leaves of absence, such as maternity and parental leaves, as well as complex terminations.Manage complex payroll for diverse populations, with multiple systems and pay cycles / schedules, in most Canadian provinces (including Quebec).Prepare statutory reporting and remittances.Prepare periodic and year-end income tax reporting processes and remittances.Assist with payroll accounting functions, reconciliati...
