Description
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 500–1,000 employees. This role ensures payroll transactions are completed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the confidentiality of employee information. The Payroll Specialist works closely with Human Resources, Finance, and department managers to resolve payroll-related issues and provide excellent customer service to employees.


Essential Responsibilities

+ Process weekly payroll for 500–1,000 employees with a high degree of accuracy.

+ Review employee timecards, attendance records, and payroll data for completeness and accuracy.

+ Enter and maintain payroll-related information, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, direct deposit updates, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions.
