Payroll Coordinator

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll for a dynamic mining workforce, including employees working rotational schedules. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all company policies and employment standards. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to support payroll administration in a fast‑paced mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the bi‑weekly payroll function for Côté Gold, including earnings, deductions, bonuses, and payroll input for hourly employees.
• Review payroll registers for accuracy and reasonableness prior to sign‑off; prepare payroll journal entries for each pay run.
• Maintain accurate employee data in payroll and timekeeping systems, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes.
