Reporting to the Program Manager – Hope & Healing Program, the Patient and Family Educator – Gynecologic Cancer is a registered nurse with specialized knowledge in oncology who provides education, information, support, and referrals to patients and families affected by gynecologic cancer throughout the cancer continuum (suspicion, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and palliative care). Empowering patients to make informed decisions is an essential aspect of this role.
