A supportive and inclusive secondary school in Salford is seeking to appoint a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to join their pastoral team from September 2026. This is a full-time position, offering an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting students’ wellbeing, behaviour, and overall development.


Provide pastoral support to students to promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning
Work closely with Heads of Year, safeguarding leads, and teaching staff
Support students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and student wellbeing
