Part‑time Lecturer for the Master of Arts (MA) in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices programme at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore (NTU CCA). The lecturer will teach the elective course “Curating Residencies” commencing in January 2027 and concluding in July 2027.
Course OutlineCourse aims to develop advanced critical and methodological understanding of contemporary art residencies as curatorial institutional, temporal, and socio‑economic structures within contemporary art ecologies. Students acquire conceptual and practical tools to analyse, evaluate, and develop residency models across institutional, independent, community‑based, nomadic, research‑oriented, and transdisciplinary contexts. Emphasis on the role of time in curatorial and artistic production, and on questions of duration, slowness, research, mobility, precarity, hospitality, labour, funding and public engagement.
