Associate degree in Automotive Systems Technology or a closely related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
Five years of recent, relevant work experience in automotive service, repair, diagnostics, or related automotive systems.
Industry-recognized certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in one or more areas (or ability to obtain within one year of hire).
Demonstrated proficiency with automotive tools, equipment, diagnostic technology, and safety practices.
Ability to plan and deliver hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab/shop settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and support students.
Ability to maintain required documentation, records, and reports with accuracy.
