Adventist Health + Rideout is seeking multiple experienced Ortho Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join medical group just outside of Sacramento in Yuba City, CA . As a Trauma Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to critically injured patients coming through our ED and Acute Care Surgery.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the trauma team, including trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to trauma patients.
* Perform initial assessments and triage patients based on the severity of their injuries.
* Assist in resuscitation efforts, including airway management, vascular access, and administration of medications.
* Conduct thorough physical examinations and order appropriate diagnostic tests to determine the extent of injuries.
