Job Description:
Work with LAKEWATCH staff at the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (SFFGS) to support statewide citizen science water quality monitoring efforts. Responsibilities include:
Prepare sample materials (bottle packs, filter packs, and data sheets) for distributionDrive to collection centers across Florida to pick up and transport water samplesAssemble, maintain, and repair volunteer sampling kits and equipmentMaintain vehicles and equipment used in field operationsOrganize and track samples, data sheets, and suppliesAssist with occasional field sampling, data entry, and program support tasksUse a purchasing card and complete required paperwork to procure supplies as directedOther duties as assigned Valid Florida Driver’s License.
