ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following: • Conduct and record various tests: - central visual acuity - central and peripheral visual field - ocular tonometry and tonography - color vision - accommodation - keratometry - retinoscopy - refraction - cover-uncover and alternate cover ocular balance - light and accommodation pupillary reaction vergence - duction and rotation - visual fusion and stereoptic - phoria and tropia, diplopia field - amblyoscope and troposcope - optokinetic tests • Perform and record lensometry tests of spectacle and contact lens interpupillary distance and spectacle lens decentration measurements, bifocal and trifocal segment height and location measurements, spectacle adjustments and repair evaluations.
