Position Summary
The position supervises a team of 30+ food production employees (dishwashers, make & pack, galley, commissary, final assembly) in a unionized environment, ensuring security, safety, food specifications, quality assurance of products, sanitation, HACCP, AAFC and FDA regulations, and controlling labour and material costs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality production standards are followed and maintained.
- Ensure employees adhere to HACCP, FDA, AAFC and safety regulations and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare management reports (attendance, HACCP and labour) as required.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure product coding according to Gate Gourmet procedures.
- Conduct inventory of Gate Gourmet products and customer materials to minimize waste.
