Requirements
Appropriate degree/diploma in Nursing or equivalent, 7 years recognisable service as a professional nurse. Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse (2026).
Experience in a travel clinic environment or Travel Medicine certificate will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel for campaigns within districts, work irregular and extended hours during disease outbreaks.
Valid driver’s licence and computer literacy.
Good knowledge of nursing legislation, ethical practices, and standards.
In-depth knowledge of travel vaccines, malaria chemoprophylaxis, and the malaria elimination strategy 2028.
