Overview

Join a family run 24/7 hospital as an OOH ECC Veterinary Surgeon for Leeds Birstall, paying £55,000 to £60,000 (DOE) on a 7 night on, 14 nights off rota.

Responsibilities

• Deliver out-of-hours ECC veterinary care to support the existing veterinary team with a complex caseload.
• Provide patient and client care to a high standard during night shifts.
• Work as part of a dedicated night team (1 vet, 1 senior RVN, 2 VCAs, receptionist on duty until 10pm, twilight nurse until midnight).
• Support and utilise in-house equipment and facilities to achieve optimal outcomes (surgical, medical, dentistry; access to CT, laparoscopy, IDEXX laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, IM3 dental equipment).
• Contribute to ongoing CPD and professional development within a proactive CPD/Clinical Development team.
