Job Details:
See 20-25 patients per day in a hospital inpatient service setting Handle malignant and benign oncology cases, including inpatient malignant medical oncology patients and all ranges of hematology consults Lead the medical oncology team, supervising Advanced Practice Providers and seeing all new consults Support staff includes 1 APP Monday through Friday and 1 APP on weekends to assist with rounding on the busier service Inpatient call expectations include 8-10 hour days with overnight call handled from home for medical oncology-specific calls only, scheduled one week at a time (Monday 8:00 AM to following Monday 8:00 AM), with flexible scheduling Outpatient coverage includes hematology and medical oncology with an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule and no call requirements; overnight call from home is an optio...
