Job Description
The Research Technician will be responsible for supporting various agricultural operations, including the transportation and management of equipment, execution of plot planting, and maintenance of field data. The role involves a combination of administrative tasks and fieldwork to ensure the efficient functioning of agricultural research plots.
Responsibilities

+ Load, transport, and unload equipment safely.

+ Execute timely and accurate plot planting.

+ Label testing blocks according to protocol.

+ Collect and document field data, including emergence, stand counts, flowering, height, and maturity.

+ Perform weed control through spraying and manual methods as needed.

+ Maintain plots through tillage, weeding, and general upkeep.

+ Install and maintain plot signage.
