Occupational Therapist Position

Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 is seeking a passionate, self-starting, motivated occupational therapist for the school year. Candidates must be knowledgeable in their field, flexible, organized and student-centered. Candidates must have strong communication skills, work well on a team and plan collaboratively with other teachers, related staff, and administration. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Direct occupational therapy to students in a school-based environment.
• Providing consultation to teachers and families regarding fine motor, visual motor, and sensory motor supports and accommodations.
• Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students with IEPs or Section 504 Plans.
• Participate in Early Childhood Screenings and Evaluations.
