Description: Occupational Therapist. 190-day position. Salary: Salary / Work Year TBD by the Board. Available: School Year.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina Occupational Therapist Licensure
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from Accredited Program

Note: Negative TB Test results must be on file with Human Resources prior to starting work. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Responsible To: Director of Exceptional Education

Job Goal: To provide occupational therapy to children with disabilities through direct intervention or through consultation with teachers and staff, as appropriate.

Performance Responsibilities

• Provide a program of therapy to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities when occupational therapy is needed for the student to benefit from special education.
