Perform directed history and physical examination pertaining to patient's presenting complaint in accordance with established rules and regulations defining physician assistant's scope of practice.
Perform a variety of diagnostic/therapeutic procedures subject to state regulations and PA training including, but not limited to, Basic/Advanced Life support, IV therapy, venipuncture and arterial puncture, collection and preparation of laboratory specimens, injections, immunizations, eye examinations, STD/I exams, Treatment of HIV, Viral Hepatitis B, and Viral Hepatitis C, PrEP, minor superficial burns treatment, wound care and application of dressings and bandages, foreign bodies and suture removal, external hemorrhage control, medication administration, pelvic examinations, and routine required physical examinations including DOT, school, sports, passport, and immigration.
