Reporting to the Director Kivalliq Health Centre, the Nurse Manager Inpatient Services is responsible for providing leadership, direction and support to the general duty nurses and nursing support staff. The incumbent works with nursing staff to provide professional nursing services in an inpatient setting with a community approach to all community members, as individuals, families, and groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the program, services and operation of inpatient areas.
• Directing the provision of inpatient health services.
• Providing support to the midwifery program.
• Promoting health awareness at the levels of prevention.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing.
