Summary This position is located at the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH), Healthcare Services. AFRH is an independent Agency in the Executive branch of the US Government and provides residences and related services for certain retired and former members of the US Armed Forces. The primary purpose of the position is to provide professional acute and rehabilitation/restorative nursing to geriatric residents with chronic disease. Responsibilities As a/an Nurse, you will: Plan and provide comprehensive nursing care to residents based on history, physician's medical care plan, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs. Administer medications observing the five rights and completes the appropriate documentation. Document resident care information in patients' chart to reflect nursing care, planned monthly summary, changes in the condition of the resident, and current condition of the resident in accordance with established documentation guidelines.
