**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our **Family Birth Center (FBC) Registered Nurse** (RN) at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care so you can significantly impact our patients' well-being and recovery. Our Family Birth Center operates as the Level 3 High Risk Facility for the greater Sacramento Dignity Hospitals. It is comprehensively equipped with 28 beds, including 12 labor beds, 2 Operating Rooms, a 2-patient PACU, 2 triage bays, and a 14-bed private Mother-Baby unit. We are proud to be Joint Commission Certified for Perinatal Care and committed to the 10 steps for successful breastfeeding. As a high-risk facility, we frequently receive antepartum patient transfers from across Northern California.
