GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for collaborative assessment, planning, implementation and
evaluation or consultation on educational activities to develop, maintain, and enhance
clinical. educational and leadership skills of nursing and nursing assistive personnel.

Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

No weekends

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Collaborates with Nurse Managers, DCOs, Clinical Coordinators, educators and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies.

+ Develops, implements and evaluates educational plans/programs for area utilizing adult teaming theory.

+ Develops and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

+ Provides direction and role modeling for staff.

+ Participates and provides continuity/consistency from general to area unit specific orientation.
